Sachin Tendulkar, the master blaster as we all call him, is one of the best classy batsmen in the history of Indian cricket as well as the whole world. He mastered the art by his tremendous will and dedication to perform in spite of worst situations. He is not only an icon but worshipped as 'god of cricket' for the international community.
We always compare him with Donald Bradman and Viv Richards for his cricketing talent and gentleman ship, but we should not forget that he is the only one who has got records and records in his name. He is the highest run-getter in one-days and tests. Anyone with a passion in cricket rarely has not come across his name as cricket in the Indian sub-continent starts with the name and appraisal of this almighty. That is why, it is best to say he is the greatest cricketer this game has produced till date.
Sachin has got many awards including the recently concluded The Asian Awards,2010 in London, U.K. He is been honoured by Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna during 1997-98,India's highest honour given for achievement in sports. Other awards include Padma Shri, Padma Vibhushan and Arjuna Award.
That is why, the common saying goes 'Sachin Tendulkar is our God' and this is a privilege for all Indians to be witnessing this fact.
